Gutub Minar, Delhi, India. This large ediface looms majestically across the plains of Delhi. It's a UNESCO World Hertiage Site. It was constructed in 1192 - 1193 by Qutub-Ud-Din Aibak in red sandstone and marble. The tower is 240 feet tall consisting of 5 stories with a spiral staircase of 379 stairs. The architecture of this site is an excellent example of Indo Islamic Afghan architecture. It is the tallest minaret in India.
