A church in the town of Dolores Hidalgo known as the Cradle of independence. At this church, Father Hidalgo rang his bell and gave the call to arms known as the "Cry Of Dolores" which marked the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence on September 16, 1810. The exterior of this UNESCO World Heritage site resembles a fortress with it's 32 foot tall walls and 65 foot clock tower.
